Geocaching find (48/365)

We love geocaching, and don't do enough of it at the moment, it's a great excuse for some fresh air and family time, and Eden loves the 'treasure hunt' aspect of it

Off to the allotment (47/365)

Eden proudly walking with her wheel barrow 'just like daddy' down to the allotment this morning. She was so helpful picking the weeds too.

It's all about the ballet with Eden at the moment. We got her uniform today ready for her second lesson tomorrow, and this morning Eden cleared the shelves of ballet books at the library (fiction and non fiction).

Clent Hills Run

Yesterday was gorgeously sunny, not too cold and definitely not too warm - perfect run conditions as I set out at lunchtime for my weekly long run. Preparation always helps, so I timed my breakfast of porridge and toast 3 hours before the start, I need to remember this for future as I felt full of energy without feeling uncomfortable full on the run.

I'd planned to run from our house upto the top of Clent hills. It's a scenic run, passing farms and small holdings on the hill climb up, with beautiful panoramic views the nearer to the top you get. As it happened I didn't quite make it to the very top because I wanted to stick to the 90 minute run in my training plan. I timed it pretty perfectly, arriving back home in 1 hour 31 minutes.

Little man was ready for a feed soon after. I've always wondered what my supply is like after running, so aim to feed before usually. Today however we had no complaints from Asher over feeding after so I can't see that it was affected much.

Will definitely be running this route again!

Safari Express (34/365)

We were very kindly given some last minute tickets for a day out at the safari park today. This is us enjoying the Safari Express train ride.

Digging (33/365)

Luke finished digging our plot on the allotment today (the area under the black plastic is ours and dug over too). Very proud of him for his hard work. It was a gorgeously sunny winters day today too.

Surprise presents (32/365)

Some surprise presents from the great grandparents cheered us up no end after lunch today!
